The Rev. Roger Tobin
Father Roger Tobin grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He has served churches in Rochester, NY and Pittsburgh, PA, and in 2010, he retired as the Rector of St. Thomas Episcopal Church and School in Coral Gables, where he served for 23 years. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Hobart College in Geneva, NY and his M.Div. from the Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, MA. Fr. Tobin is also a counselor in private practice at Miami Area Pastoral Services (MAPS) and earned his M.S. degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling from Barry University in Miami, FL. Fr. Tobin and his wife Jan have been married for over 40 years and have two sons, Nathaniel (married to Mary Ann Tatum) and Jonathan (married to Emily Allongo), both of whom practice law in the Miami area. The Tobin’s have three grandchildren - Genevieve, Eleanor and Andrew Jose
